What this course is about!

As you may already know from your own experience, diets don't work! Although you may lose weight, you often can't maintain the weight loss.

Going on a diet implies that you'll be coming off it at some point and returning to eating "normally", which is what led to the weight gain in the first place. This cycle of dieting -> lose weight –> eating normally/reverting back to old habits –> dieting again etc etc, is what leads to "yo yo" dieting and often results in you putting on more and more weight each time you go round the cycle.

This course is not about dieting: It is about changing your lifestyle, habits thoughts and behaviour to ensure long lasting achievement of weight loss and a happier you!

Your trainers

Alma Griffith: EDH, FETC. Dip.NT, Master Practitioner NLP, TLT & Hypnosis ABNLP, IEMT

Alma has spent over 30 years in the medical profession graduating as a Dental Hygienist specialising in dental prevention, health education, teaching and clinical research at the Eastman Dental School, she is Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).

In 2004 she graduated in Nutrition & Dietary Therapy at the Raworth International Centre where she studied Nutrition. She is a member of (BANT), and (CNHC), which promotes and demands a very high standard from their members in clinical practice with ongoing continual professional development as a requirement for continued membership.

She is also a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy (TLT) & Hypnosis graduating with the American Board of NLP and registered with the Association of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ANLP).

She runs her own busy practice in Surrey specialising in many health issues, weight management, eating disorders and emotional issues relating to food. She also works with clients in coaching them to achieve their goals and bring about permanent changes in their lives using NLPTLT & Hypnosis.

Alma is passionate about helping people to facilitate permanent emotional and lifestyle changes in their lives.


Maria Furtek: B.A.(Hons), PGCE, NLP Master Practitioner, Dip.Hyp. GQHP, Certificate Counselling skills & Theory, Cert IHM, Reiki II.

Maria Furtek is qualified Hypnotherapist and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming NLP, registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR). She is a professional member of the Association of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (ANLP) and a validated practitioner of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. Maria is also a qualified teacher and a fully experienced participative Trainer. She runs her own Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching and Training Company and has been working successfully with clients to achieve their goals and facilitate life changes on many issues including weight loss, since 1999. She lives and works in Sutton, Surrey. Maria has trained with some of the leading authorities in the field of NLP and clinical hypnosis from the UK and USA.

Maria is dedicated and passionate about her work and ensures that she continually develops her skills thereby ensuring maximum benefit and success for you.
